Visto Corporation Joins Symbian Platinum Partner Program
Partnership Drives Mobility Innovations to Market
(Redwood Shores, CALIF., April 28, 2003) – Visto Corporation (www.visto.com), the leading provider of personal and corporate mobile access solutions that are easy to install, administer and use, today announced its participation in the Symbian Platinum Partner Program created to support the emerging market for Symbian OS™ advanced mobile phones. Visto’s involvement in this alliance will extend its wireless email applications for both the enterprise and mobile professionals to the Symbian ecosystem of partners. Symbian is the developer of Symbian OS, the global industry standard operating system for advanced mobile phones.
The Symbian Platinum Program provides members with a range of Symbian products and services, supporting them to design and market highly integrated hardware and software solutions for Symbian OS. Visto has a long track record of designing applications that take advantage of wireless device operating systems to deliver productivity to personal and corporate users, including the popular TreoMail-branded application for Handspring, and Visto’s wireless email client for Microsoft’s Pocket PC Phone Edition.

Visto will showcase its secure wireless personal and corporate email solutions for Symbian devices at Symbian’s Exposium03, April 29 – 30, 2003 at the ExCel Centre in London. Visto's Symbian OS solution allows secure offline and online access to Outlook/Exchange, Domino/Notes and POP3 email using any wireless network supported by Symbian devices. Exposium03 provides an open environment in which technology suppliers, hardware vendors, network operators, enterprise solution providers and software developers can meet to do business and take advantage of the growing opportunities being created around Symbian OS for the entire mobile industry.
